Visual Studio Shortcuts

Basic usage

Example : Shortcut [Command] : Brief description.

• Ctrl+Maj + B(uild) [Build.BuildSolution] : Build the solution (compile into assembly).

• Ctrl+Break [Build.Cancel] : Cancel the current build.

Navigation and Search

• Alt+F12 : Find usages.

• Alt+\ : Open the File Member popup.

• Alt+underline caractere : open contextual menu.

Debug shortcuts

• F5 [Debug.Start] : Launch the project. (Generate the solution if necessary).

• F9 [Debug.ToggleBreakpoint] : Add/Remove a breakpoint.

• F10 [Debug.StepOver] : Step over (Launch the project if not already).

• F11 [Debug.StepInto] : Step in (Launch the project if not already).

  • Shift+F11 [Debug.StepOut] : Step out.

• Alt+F10 [Debug.ApplyCodeChanges] : Apply changements directly in debug mode.

• Ctrl+Alt+C [Debug.CallStack] : Show the call stack.

• Alt+Enter : Open the context menu (Show hints, etc.).
